Insurance
Our company insurance is provided by Covea Insurance plc. Covea’s registered office is: Covea Insurance, A&B Mills, Dean Clough, Halifax, HX3 5AX
We have:
- public liability insurance of £2 million
- employer’s liability insurance of £10 million
- and professional indemnity insurance of £50,000.
Guarantees
- We guarantee the workmanship on all our installations for a minimum of 2 years from the date of installation. A workmanship guarantee will be provided to you alongside your contract. (If there’s a problem, please get in touch with us even if it’s been more than 2 years since your installation.)
- When you pay a deposit to us, we take out Deposit and Stage Payment Insurance through HIES. The insurance means that you will get your deposit back in the case that we cease trading before installing your heat pump.
- Following the installation, we also take out a 2-year Insurance-Backed Guarantee (IBG) with HIES for your specific installation. The IBG ensures that if we cease trading after your installation and something goes wrong with your heat pump installation that was our fault (rather than the manufacturer’s fault), HIES will arrange for another installer to investigate and fix the problem.
- You also benefit from Manufacture Guarantees on major components like the heat pump, cylinder, SunAmp Thermino. Following installation we will register these manufacturer guarantees on your behalf and send you the guarantee details.
